Moos
It's nice to have something for the slightly bigger kids, given how much there is for the littlies. We look forward to graduating to it soon. Otta
God I loved that adventure playground when I was a kid! Although in those days it was bloody dangerous! :)-D Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/16806-peckham-rye-adventure-playground/#findComment-428475 Share on other sites
citizenED
We've been twice this Easter break already - with a 5 and a 3 year-old - it's an amazing facility. Also been to the Dog Kennel Hill Adventure Playground last week. Loved it. Seems to be aimed at a slightly older group and is not run by Southwark Council. Open 11 - 6 weekdays during the holiday. Check out their website here Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/16806-peckham-rye-adventure-playground/#findComment-428504 Share on other sites

Fuschia
Sadly we can't really frequent them with our 8 yo due to having 2 only just 3yos in tow but maybe now they're a bit bigger ... And as long as the baby is happy to be confined to the buggy Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/16806-peckham-rye-adventure-playground/#findComment-428536 Share on other sites
nunheadmum
Is it okay to take a 3 year old? I thought it was meant to be 5 years and above - wasn't sure if it would be beyond a 3 year old and they'd just be in the way, trying things they can't do. Is there anything to keep the younger ones entertained? Devonlass15
I see lots of younger children there who have come along with older siblings and they seem happy playing on the balancing beams or swinging on the tyres (with mum and dad's assistance!)I often take my little 1 year old son there with my 8 year old daughter and we sit on a blanket in the sun with toys while she plays on the ropes, he loves watching the other kids. It's all very laid back there and a good way to spend a free afternoon :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/16806-peckham-rye-adventure-playground/#findComment-428716 Share on other sites
kateland
Our playground is aimed at children over 5...8 if unattended but as long as your with little ones they can have lots of fun. yep-they will try things they cant do...but thats all part of the challenge! I used to go there when I nannied...with a baby in buggy, 4 yr old & 7 year old. We dont have activities directly aimed at the little ones tho.P.S were having an easter egg hunt Wednesday-all ages welcome.x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/16806-peckham-rye-adventure-playground/#findComment-428722 Share on other sites
