Steph
Was up Peckham Rye this afternoon, 3 ish with the kids. Lots of police and a police helicopter searching the place. I asked one of the policeman what was going on and she said a 5 year old boy from Barry Road had gone missing from his house. Apparently his mother had left him home alone and he had managed to get out and wander off. Does anyone know if he was found? I'm guessing he was as it would probably be big on the news by now but need to know really. Is calling the police to find out an option? ThanksSteph Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/16824-5-year-old-lost-today-now-found/ Share on other sites

Sue
If it's true he was left alone in the house, what on earth was she thinking of? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/16824-5-year-old-lost-today-now-found/#findComment-428708 Share on other sites

womanofdulwich
I'm being a bit thick here-what do you mean exactly? do you think she was in the house and he escaped ? Sue
FFS, I make a reasonable comment based on previous posts on the thread and you start having a go.What's your problem? Are you trying to drag up a previous thread, because I'm not.ETA: It's pointless speculating about what happened, however the OP said she was told that the child was left alone. That doesn't mean he was, as somebody else has pointed out. Do you have something constructive to add, DJKQ? DJKillaQueen
Yeah that it pointless dragging on about it. The child was found safe and well....that's all that matters. Let it sink. Sue
So if the child was in fact left alone, which it may turn out he was, you don't think that's something which people might want to discuss? DJKillaQueen
No-one knows anything for fact....so why speculate? There are real parents and a child involved but hey let's assume the parent was negligent anyway because of 'heresay'. Can you not see the danger in that? Sue
Yes.So why not just say that in the first place instead of having a go?I'm off this thread, I don't want to get into yet another "discussion" with you, DJKQ, it just ruins my day, every time.
