Oh lovely, enjoy your little Scout. It is a pretty cool name but do be prepared for surprised faces. One of mine has the middle name Loveday, which caused serious giggles amongst the other family having their little one Christened the same day as ours. However have to say I can't remember their child's name but no doubt they remember mine - is that good or bad?

Otta - congrats again hon, I adore the name scout.. For our little boy due in Nov we have our hearts set on Toby, of course things could change but its one we agree on, Im a bit more liberal in the name stakes whereas Jaws is mega traditional so Im just glad we have agreed on one! he he xx

The top 100 names for 2010 have been published on statistics.gov. Feel a little pleased that baby jb's name is not in the top 100. Our boy name (should we ever have a boy) is in the top 5 though!

Thanks for the info JB. it is particularly interesting to see the top ten for 1904.

It did strike me, though, what on earth is this "cloud" business? It is the trendy way of providing errr a list?!

Relieved to see my children don't appear on the relevant "clouds" or lists.
