About 5 hours to knit one of the vests, so I pretty much do it for the love of it, and not to make my millions!

Beautiful! i think you possibly need to charge more too. I bought a baby wool hat from Partridges (when it was open) for ?15...and these are much nicer.

Hi there, I totally agree with bluesuperted, I think your prices are too cheap excluding the cost of the wool, its working out about ?2.00p/h and I know from my mum knitting things that the time it takes to sew them up is not quick. Having done market stalls in my time and about to embark again!! if you sell a few one week, then the pressure is on to then make more to sell the following week, it soon gets quite tiring.

Good luck though, I love handknitted items although I have kept shrinking my mums in the wash which I have been feeling very guilty about.

The market opens at 11am on Saturday, we start setting up from 10am.

I will also add - don't undercharge you must factor in the hours you are putting in, I make celebration cakes

and have figured out that although I quote different prices dependent on size funnily enough the same amount of

hours go into each creation because of the high level of decoration required.
