Any recommendations for a local Dentist?

I need to register with a dentist for a general check-up [ :( ] however there are a number of practices an I'm not sure which to choose - any recommendations?

Rashed at the Gardens is excellent, possibly the best dentist I have ever had, but I have never had root canal treatment!
