Knomester
We need to buy a buggy bag for our Maclaren XT for when we fly to Spain in a few weeks. I just wondered if anyone has any pearls of wisdom? Should we splurge on the Maclaren one or will the cheaper models do the same job? Do we need one with wheels or not? Thanks in advance..! katgod
Sorry no pearls of wisdom just another question - have the rules changed? We have flown with Maclarens several times and never needed to have a buggy bag. Just closed it up and off it went. Is this a new airline restriction? Knomester
No rules! I just want to make sure the buggy doesn't get damaged in transit and I've noticed that others on the forum have talked about having a bag to protect their buggies. budur
we bought ours at kiddicare, don't remember how much it was but pretty cheap: one for maclaren and one for car seat, we use it all the time for the planes, just to ensure it comes out nice and clean. sanity girl
I wouldn't bother with one. I've flown with buggy in hold many times and it's come out fine. If you take a lightweight buggy sometimes they'll let you store it on board if the flight is not too full. reren
I was told that if you travel with a bugaboo the warranty doeant cover damage unless in a buggaboo bag? Would your travel insurance cover damage though do you think?
