Was bit murky when I looked in but swore I saw David Threlfall...

..and a local match seller told me that the 'international/world famous' star referred to was Hugh B. not Mr Mac.

Giggsy was definitely practising his inswingers though.

Believe Sheerah and Ms. Logan were in another bar altogether.

And Monty was in the old bar with Andrew Marr and Fred the Shred before it got bulldozed

The Premiership footballer confessed all to his wife the other day, wife subsequently "devastated", Ryan Giggs doesn't play for Man Utd against Arsenal today as he has 'a touch of flu'. Team mates realise identity of super-injunction holder, play sh-t and get beaten 1-0. Just a theory, mind.

Wasn't i being obvious enough? i did credit Gerald Wiley (Ronnie Barker's nom de plume) and he used it thus "Tonight's news will be read in broil. I'm sorry I'll feel that again..."

Hmmm maybe but... Cook first used it in 1976 on Derek and Clive (Live) and I think Barker may have already used it by then so maybe Cook stole it from Barker? (cries of "surely not!" "never!" etc)

ETA: the quote -(circa 197?)

Scene, Barker taking off a BBC newsreader, shoulders and face shot looking straight into the camera, very serious....

" And that was the news for our sighted viewers. We now continue with the news in Broille....."

- pause, with puzzled look on his face, looks down at his hands floating over a big book

"Sorry, I'll just feel that again!"

Got a message back within a day to say medication ordered from chemist.

    • Oh give it a break.  We have an MP who makes racist comments, yet our media (and what seems like this Forum) that generally hate Labour (and loved Johnson) are just out looking for the dirt. It's a move on, nothing to see here.  Particularly if she used a letting agency.
