Hi! I had a manual one with my first child and it really was a pain in the butt and took forEVER to get any supply. Are the electric ones any better really? Any ideas on a brand?

I have a Medela Swing and it is great. I am sure there are better ones out there but this works for me. I used to have the battery operated Medela (forgotten name it was 5 years ago).

You can get spares for all the lactaline parts - having spRe collection sets is useful for expressing at work ( tSke 2 sterilised sets)

Nightmare when a pump goes wrong

I will always remember mine blowing up on Xmas day when baby wS 100% on ebm at that point
