Who would be your ideal dinner party guests ( no smut please) and why..

Recommended Posts

For my dinner, the guests mentioned after Stephen are greeted and seated first, then Stephen arrives unnanounced.

He will see the shock in the face of his killers across the table and see in their eyes the guilt for his murder.

I'd like to hear his questions and their replies. I'd like to see their disposition and hear any attempts at justification they utter, before all falls silent under the stare of Stephen.

KidKruger I hear you.

Unfortunately Acourt wouldn't he was quoted as saying "I reckon every n****r should be chopped up and left with stumps." and was imprisoned for trying to run over a black policeman, unprovoked and sober.

I don't think you'll hear any attempts at justification from them.

Guys like them make me want to reconsider the death sentence.

Well thank god for "acceptable homosexuals". We wont be having any of those unacceptable one now will we....

Excellent idea.

I know a very competent bass player who could slap out a few licks every time someone comes back from the bog.

Things might be a bit rubbish for the first few hours, but I bet by the time the coffees are served-up everyone will be literally shaking with uncontrollable laughter etc etc

Dit on tees, you know that most homosexual men,do not want to be stereotyped as camp anymore, some have also said they would rather be called queer than gay.

Times have changed they would prefer not to be laughed at and reject the image people thrust on them, and dont find

over effiminate men,attractive.

It was in that context I was referring too.

Tarot, you are really hilarious, I want to read the same literature as you do and watch the same programmes as you do.... I don't know many gay people who would be comfortable being called queer.. Times have changed indeed but some appear to have been lost in a sad, bleak time warp. May the force be with you dude!

Nigel Molesworth, just to see how he's getting on in the city.

Ian Carmichael, because I think he'd have lots of great anecdotes.

Alistair Sim in drag, for reasons that pass all understanding.

Nikki Sixx, to bring down the tone by trying to pull Alistair Sim.

Tim Kelly, so I could get him all drunk and pissed-up and nick the Eye of Zoltek.

Joyce Grenfell, so she could keep us entertained by having conversations with imaginary children.

Phil Lynott, so he could raise the tone by trying to pull Joyce Grenfell.

Stewart Lee, so he could tell us all why dinner parties are shit.

Noel Coward, to put Stewart Lee in his place.

Calvin, because...Jeez I gotta have a reason for EVERYTHING now!!

What a great Idea. I would love to be there as well for the same reasons but is a shame

I am going to miss it. One thing what my lovely mum has always say is that..

"NEVER TEACH A PIG TO SIGN BECOUSE YOUR WASTE YOUR TIME AND YOU ANNOY THE PIG "

Omid Djalili because I think he's funny

Marco Pierre White (to help me in the kitchen)

Robert de Niro..just because..

Lao Tzu because I love reading his quotes

Queen Cleopatra to see what she really looked like

Posh Spice so I could force feed her bread, steak and foie gras to fatten her up

Rafael Nadal so I could get him pissed and take advantage of him

    • https://www.assistancedogs.org.uk/information-hub/assistance-dogs-emotional-support-dogs-and-therapy-dogs/   hello   i’d be interested to understand if anyone.has experience of Assistance Dogs especially for autistic children of different ages for emotional support and therapy   There was a prior thread on this topic on EDF 10 hrs ago but it had limited experiences and there was a (claimed) change in UK legislation in 2019. Whilst the industry appears unregulated/unlicensed, there are several providers (approx 15, perhaps more) who claim to have fully trained dogs or say that they can help families to train a puppy/young dog over the 18-24 months.  The latter obviously comes with a need for strong commitment to the challenge. Costs for a fully trained assistance dog are quoted at £13-15k albeit they claim £23k total cost to train the dog. On the one hand, this could potentially be a useful solution for some families if such a dog was truly trained as their websites claim and such a dog was accepted in public places and schools etc… On the other hand, I don’t think that I’ve ever seen an assistance dog of this type or in this context (only for a blind or partially sighted person) and hence a real risk of fraud or exploitation! The SEN challenge for families coupled with limited resources in schools or from local authorities or the NHS as well as the extremely challenging experience of many families with schools offering little or no support or making the situation worse leaves a big risk of lots of different types of fraud and or exploitation in this area.
    • Hi there  We live on Woodwarde Road backing on to Alleyns Top Field.  Our cat Gigi has gone missing — it’s been about 24 hours now. She is a cream Bengal. Could you please check sheds, garages, or anywhere she might have got stuck please? And if you could keep an eye out or share on any local groups/forums, we’d really appreciate it. Photo attached.   Thanks so much! My name is Jeff on 07956 910068.
    • Colin.    One for the old school.   Just saying.
