Bike steeling Scum ( bike with blue crate - seen?)

Just on the off-chance. For the second time in a year - my bike's stolen - late last night with bolt cutters - an old bike chosen to be unattractive - but taken regardless - it had a blue plastic crate attached to the rear rack - Dark blue large frame - with brand OPTIMA in silva letters - . . . . yours, disappointed in Dulwich . . .

Poor you - it's a horrible experience. Whereabouts was it taken from?

The last time mine was stolen several people suggested going up to Brick Lane as apparently that's where a lot of them end up. Also worth keeping an eye on Gumtree for a few weeks.

Bike was stolen from Thorncombe Road SE22

It appear to me that so many bikes get stolen at night round here and in London in general (it must be an organised racket) - that the police - bless them - could spend sometime stopping vans that drive around residential areas in the wee hours and see if they're full of bikes - i know this may not appear to police to be a serious crime - but it's completely rife - and causes massive inconvenience - and really needs someone with the clout to set a project to try and make a difference - I won't hold my breath though -
