Is it my imagination or has there been a sudden increase in (new users writing) odd posts - not really making sense etc.

I understand some people like to stir up arguments etc so are purposely controversial but I wouldn't say the one's I've noticed recently fall into this category.... they just don't make any real sense and seem rather pointless.

Each to their own I guess if it is someone's idea of "fun".

Crikey, I am relativvely new to this forum and known for the occasional act of keyboard randomness... Apologies, I am still learning the forumite code and hope to settle down by Crimbo.

I do wonder why you bother reading things that strike you as odd? I find some of the topics on here a bit strange but when they make for interesting reading, a bit like car-crash tv, I am glued.

    • Did you know that registered medical practioners are supposed to report a notifiable disease to the UK HEALTH security Agency UKHSA. This includes COVID-19.  There’s  quite a long list of other diseases they must report too. They include cholera, diphtheria, acute infectious  hepatitis A/B/C, acute meningitis and acute enchephalitis.

    • We went in for a quote for our tiny bathroom and they said it would cost £8-10k for off the shelf items and installation.   We looked around and found https://thehousemartin.co/about He did the work for less than 5k, including plastering, carpentry of a custom cabinet, plumbing, painting and tiling. The quality of finished work was very high so we can't recommend him highly enough, the only additional cost to us was purchasing the fixtures.
