Police cars on Lordship Lane

Walking down Lordship Lane at around 10am this morning I must have counted about 7 police cars parked up. No sign of the officers. Was wondering if anyone had seen anything as quite unusual...?

From what I gather, there are limited facilities in the Camberwell Green station for catering.

On holiday once in Yorkshire we stopped at a pub in the middle of nowhere (Heartbeat Country) and found it full of police. We were informed that due to the scattered nature of the work the only way the police could get together to discuss work matters, was to meet in this pub on a regular basis for a 'working breakfast/lunch - no alcohol.

They were more than likely having a more 'social catch up. The police in Yorkshire were in the saloon bar area of the pub whilst we were in the more restaurant area - there was no way we could have listened to their conversation.

Why? Do you really think the police are that stupid? Next you'll be saying there's not enough of them out there being seen in the community.

I think it's great they eat in a local cafe, I hope they eat donuts, call each other by their surnames and look for suspicious people going into the bank opposite.

Why don't people read ALL the posts in the thread before having a pop at The Fox

It was pugwash that mentioned police (in Yorkshire) due to the scattered nature of the work the only way the police could get together to discuss work matters.. and I said It did not sound too secure..

I did "read ALL the posts", pugwash didn't mention anything about conversations being secure. Anyway, the police eh, should be out catching criminals not feeding themselves.
