red devil
I'd hazard a guess of ?30-40k, but so many variants, e.g. is it gable or hipped end, how much lead flashings req'd which are costly, is there a rear outrigger, is it stepped, and so on. Best to get a quote from a roofer(s)... Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/173583-how-much-to-re-roof-a-house/#findComment-1194342 Share on other sites

Pugwash
We had our large Victorian semi done about 15 years ago with slate and was around ?5,000 so if you add in inflations etc. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/173583-how-much-to-re-roof-a-house/#findComment-1194382 Share on other sites
Houseoflego
Same here 7-8k. For 40k you would get the loft extension thrown in. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/173583-how-much-to-re-roof-a-house/#findComment-1194463 Share on other sites
red devil
Yep, sorry, I was on auto-pilot when posting earlier, currently involved in a loft conversion! For slates only (the artificial ones like Eternit, not real slate) I'd still go higher than what's being quoted though, say around ?15-18k, as had a slate roof replaced a couple of years ago for ?11k, and it wasn't a big footprint...
