I hope it's nothing too serious! Car style flashing lights, then ambulance, the seldoc. 3 kinds of ambulances??? Seems strange.

...easily explained (well, the ambulances bit). Someone called SELDOC (the out of hours GP), when the GP got there, unhappy with condition of person and felt they needed to go to hospital so called ambulance. A first responder (the car ambulance) was sent (?the patient needed treatment/stabilisation before transfer to hospital) and then the ambulance arrived to take the patient in.

the attendence of all the vehicles suggests that the matter was probably quite serious to those involved and if it was me i wouldn't really want everyone gossiping about it on the internet

When we had problems with our baby's breathing and called NHS direct they sent a paramedic who arrived by car then called an ambulance. Several vehicles isn't unusual, as buggie explains
