Free Schools?

Hello all,

Are there any discussions going on about setting up a Free School in the area? Either primary or secondary? And do you think there's a need?

I'm actually in Peckham Rye area, with two children aged 3 and 1, and beginning to think about primary schools. It seems like a lot of people don't get any school on their list, let alone first choice, and I wondered how bad the problem is - ie would there be any children applying to a Free School if one was set up?
