Rehome Mr Miyagi - the wonky eyed cat

Can anyone offer this friendly, wonky-eyed panda bear a home before Xmas?

Mr Miyagi is a friendly 2-3 year old ex-stray cat. He turned up limping, thin and unkempt in a back garden in the Spring of this year, so they brought him to us in April to have his paw treated.

He's been with us nearly NINE MONTHS now, and since April, he has gone from a shy stray to seeking cuddles, strokes and company. He likes nothing more than to spend time cuddled up on a bed.

As you can see by his photo, Mr Miyagi has a slightly damaged left eye - it waxed on, but didn't quite wax off again! There are no complications expected with this.

A home with a garden is sought for Mr Miyagi. A home with a cosy bed and a garden - even better!!

Celia Hammond Lewisham have regular Open Days every Saturday and Sunday between 1pm - 5pm

Please bring a donation of some cat food if you visit!!

He's a truly lovely young guy, so if you think you can offer him a home, please call and ask to meet Mr Myagi:

It would be such a good thing to do, and if you can help, you're awesome!

    • Callout for help from any local experts here. Looking to find out more about the history of the property on the corner of Whateley Road and Ulverscroft road (with the green glazed bricks). Now a residential property, i'm told it was a bottle shop in days gone (the house was built around 1900) by and i'd like to learn more about the history of the business that was once here - name, photos, anything at all really! Seems to be very little from open source research so i'm hoping anyone with history in the area can provide any insight!  Starting here before i contact Southwark Archives or similar orgs to get any information and pictures (any advice here also would be welcome). Thank you
    • Portable ramps are available for businesses to use in this sort of situation, aren't they? I don't know whether one would be suitable for use here, or whether they have the space to store one. Lots of people have  permanent or temporary disabilities which mean they have to use crutches or a wheelchair.
