MrBen
Hendricks and Fever Tree tonic, perfectly mixed with some ice and cold glass is quite possibly the eighth wonder of the world. Applespider
Pimms Royale is wonderful... but it's terribly drinkable. I'd thoroughly recommend that anyone trying it only does so within staggering distance of their home. I ended up with three unexpected house guests... one of whom did try to go home, got as far as standing up and then fell down. Oooh... that pudding does sound rather lovely... Nero
My advice re gin is to buy it 20% stronger and 40% cheaper from duty-free. When preparing a G and T, take a thick-bottomed tumbler, add a big handful of ice cubes, some cucumber/citrus peel/rosemaray and a big slug of icy liquor, topped up with fizzing tonic water. (I just shake the bottle if it looks a little flat!)
