Hayfever in little ones?

Can they get it? Suppose they can! My 2 yr old is streaming and has been for about a month - but not unwell at all, just totally snotty. Me and baby are fine. How would you know though - he's not sneezing or runny eyes... Or is it just another vile toddler cold..?

I think my 2yo gets it as on days I am suffering the most he also sneezes a lot and is streaming and rubs his eyes. I think you can get liquid piriton over the counter but apparently it makes them very drowsy. What am I thinking, that sounds perfect....the answer to all my mad toddler problems!

Am sure mine is getting it too. Have liquid piriton somewhere so might give that a go.

Liquid piriton sounds most excellent remedy....

Popping vaseline around nostrils and eyes can help too as it traps pollen before it gets in.

Seb gets it, as do I. Doesn't seem to affect his eyes, just snout. Liquid piriton is a bugger to get down him, but when he's snuffley around naps/bedtime, we find that calpol saline nose spray helps a lot.

Why does it seldom affect people abroad? Is it like British rail? The "wrong" type of pollen?!

Yep, my son gets it bad. I also get it bad, and he seems to be affected by exactly the same things as me (basically everything that blooms in the English spring/summertime). Piriton helps to some extent x
