Donating Gently Used Toys and Books

Does anyone know if there's a place in the Peckham/Nunhead/Dulwich area where you can donate gently used toys and books ahead of Christmas?

You could contact Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers (SDCAS) - www.sdcas.org.uk

They have quite a few young families who would appreciate toys and books.

The main office is staffed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and is based at the Copleston Centre.

Barry House hostel on Barry Road next to Christ Church (corner of Etherow street) are always in need of children's stuff inc toys, games and clothing.

I?ve been and donated a stack of things to the Salvation Army 105 lomond grove in camberwell today. Really easy, parked outside they helped me carry in the bits I had (childrens clothes toys books, bassinet, baby bouncers etc) were very grateful and will be doing the same next time. I?ve tried to give things away via the EDF previously and it takes so

Much more effort than popping into the Salvation Army did today.
