Can you name the most unwanted Christmas present that you've been given from previous Christmas'?

Why you didn't want it?

And what you did with it?

Edit: 2017 unwanted presents, why not do a swap with someone else on EDF.

Administrator: I hope you allow this post, it's just a brain storm of mine.

Oooh, we'll have that!

I had one of the most ugly but surely one of the most useful: I had a UK made Brick with 2018 written on it!

Person that gave it to me says apparently they are in big demand these days so.. easy to give to someone else in case.

She also added everybody has an irish relative, a scottish friend or european family. Perhaps American friends or mexican friends maybe?...In the middle east also in big demand and all over the world really. Cataluna wants to separate, and surely some North Italians will be happy to "draw a line" above Rome!

I must say it is an ugly present, possibly most ugly ever, but surely one of the most useful in this world..

From my side i would have welcomed better some chocolate box and wine to share!!

Perhaps Pato, you could exchange your 2018 ugly brick for some choco and Wine, as you don't drink, though, non Alco stuff.

One question: who the f....is Joy Villa??

    • Surely only where the local businesses offer clear advantages, otherwise you are rewarding what should be failure. I want to be served by a better bakery than Gail's, not a worse but local independent one. Certainly give a local independent some time to get the offer right, but don't buy goods which are worse and or more expensive just because the outlet isn't a chain.
    • Let’s just boycott all chains in favour of local businesses.  Places like Gail’s popping up everywhere has a very damaging impact on small businesses. It’s just the same as the new empanadas place but on a bigger scale. I’ll say it a million times more, we hold the power with our choices. Let’s use our power to look after ourselves and our environment (which includes small local family businesses). And yes, I also love Chacarero.
    • You know that the top 1% of earners pay 30% of all total tax in the UK right? If they leave who picks up the tax slack? This is an inconvenient truth ignored by many. This is why Labour did a u-turn on non-doms because they started leaving and left the Treasury with a growing tax hole to fill.
