lift/cabshare to Stansted

Bit of a longshot but just found out Stansted express is not running this Sunday January 7.

Need at be at airport by 9am, just wondering if anyone else driving or taking cab to airport at that time. Happy to pay share of fare.

If you check National Rail they are running a bus every 15 minutes from Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport. Taking 75 minutes it's not much longer than the train from memory. 7:30 arrives at 8:45 and 7:45 arriving at 9:00am. I always used to get the Victoria line to Tottenham Hale from Vauxhall to cut out the slow section into Liverpool street. A 40 bus turns off a few hundred yards from Liverpool Street station and should be quite quick early on a Sunday morning if your luggage is not too heavy. Otherwise an Uber to Liverpool Street should be cheaper than a cab all the way.

Thanks - yes I've seen that, but as you say it only goes from Liverpool Street and does take 30 mins longer (assuming no traffic hold-ups). Normally I'd go to Brixton and pick up the stansted express at Tottenham Hale.

The other option is going to Stratford by train/tube and getting a Terravision coach from there - it's cheaper and probably a bit faster too.

Got the bus from Stratford a while back was even quicker than getting to Liverpool Street and then the stanstead express and way cheaper

The coach stop outside Stratford station is always very popular.
