Babysitter rates

We've been out of the babysitter game for a little while and just wondering what ED going rates are these days?!

I think it depends on age/experience/ whether they are ofsted registered etc. The babysitters I use (recent graduates/students looking for extra work/cash) have a rate of ?8 per hour. I know people who use local teenagers who ask for less - around ?6 per hour. More experienced nannies or childminders will have a higher rate

For nannies and childminders it now seems to range from ?10 -?14 an hour plus a taxi / uber home if needed
