Baby friendly pub and/or restaurant?

My Italian in-laws are visiting with their 15 month old, looking for advice on a pub for a drink late this afternoon and somewhere for dinner this evening that will be suitable to take him to...with nice atmosphere and food.

I'm familiar with lots of the local places but not with a baby! I'm trying to think of somewhere with a bit of space as he likes to toddle around a bit.

The Florence in Herne hill has a play room and I think kids can stay til 7pm ish

Thanks Jess, that sounds good for an early evening drink, do you happen to know any local restaurants that would be suitable to take him to? As you mentioned, pubs only fine till 6 or 7pm..

I've heard that the Palmerston are fine about children being in there in the evening, but you might want to double check!

I heard that The Victoria Inn, Bellenden, has a baby/toddler play room, but haven't been there myself.... Jame Circus in Brockley is good, lots of space, good food....

Victoria in has a playroom and allows kids up to 8pm, food is nice.

Indian Restaurant Jaflong is small but staff are very childfriendly and no evening timelimit
