Kimchi Fermentation Workshop, Tuesday March 6th

Recommended Posts

Come along to Captured on the Rye to find out more about Korean Kimchi, a spicy, fermented cabbage that is gaining popularity in the U.K. We will sample Kimchi straight out of the jar as well as cooked in one of our favourite combos which is a toasted cheese, Kimchi and truffle oil sandwich. Because Kimchi is a fermented food, it contains a lot of healthy probiotics, which have been found to improve immunity, control inflammation, and help maintain a healthy digestive system.

We will have plenty of recycled, sterilised jars in assorted sizes available but do feel free to bring your own clean jars along so you can take more Kimchi home!

    • No problem. I think it is also worth saying, in light of the recent Panorama programme, that we, at No-Flies, are completely independent and do not have referral arrangements with solicitors or surveyors. We believe that both buyers and sellers should be free to make their own choices on who they wish to instruct - though we are happy to provide recommendations and will try to warn people off firms with whom we have had previous bad experiences.
    • I'd support fining any tourist wearing a 'I ❤️ London' t-shirt, 'University of Oxford' sweatshirt or Union Jack bobble hat.
    • I noticed more butterflies than ever this year - lots of red admirals and white ones. Couldn't understand why, then found this. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2025/jul/18/big-butterfly-count-uk-numbers-recovery
    • Had a Red Admiral in front driveway today. Hadn't seen one for some time
