Vegan-friendly restaurant in Camberwell?

I'm looking for a good restaurant for lunch around Camberwell that caters for Vegans. Any tips?

Maloko is the vegetarian and vegan caf? in Camberwell Church Street that does crepes/ galletes...... I like it there.

Lots of the vegetarian dishes at Silk Road will probably be vegan, although not advertised

I'd not try Silk Road if I was vegetarian.

I think the stocks used aren't guaranteed veg, plus the single kitchen is where all food is prepared and cooked (separation of utensils not being paramount).

Zeret kitchen is Ethiopian and from a quick look their veggie dishes are frequently vegan

Zeret is great!! Vegan, veggie & meat friendly. Great people working there too.

Exactly this. The chance of anything in there being even vegetarian - let along vegan - is pretty low.

There's a reason the veg dishes taste so good...

Not Camberwell, but Persepolis in Peckham is magnificent for vegans.

RE: Silk Road - definitely not the case! There won't be stocks / meat used in the majority of veg dishes.. e.g. home style cabbage, aubergine, cucumber, shredded potato, xinjiang salad, mixed veg noodles etc. See their home style cabbage recipe which was posted officially in the Guardian..
