Free meditation class, Dulwich Library, Sat 3rd Feb 10am

Recommended Posts

Dulwich Library Saturday 3 Feb 10am to 1pm

Interested in learning about meditation? Been meditating for a long time but want to find out more, join a meditation group?

We are a group of experienced meditators who have set up an educational charity and run free classes and courses in London. We will be running a class at Dulwich Library Saturday morning for the first time. Please do come along and find out more

We will look at the benefits of meditation, the method, how meditation works, the mind, brain and consciousness and the spiritual aspect of meditation.

There will be chances to practice the method and ask questions.

If you would like to bring a friend or two, that's fine - there should be plenty of room.

Please ask if you have any questions.

To read more and book, visit: jangama.org or phone Michael on 07900 217093

By the way, don't worry, we will have a break in the middle!

Thanks

Michael

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
