I've been using the 37 to get to Clapham Common everyday for work and it's driving me mad. Always so so busy and so takes forever for really what is a relatively short distance.

I noticed the 345 goes there but I've never used it. Does anyone use this bus to get to Clapham Common? If so, what is it like? how often do the buses turn up and more importantly how long does it take to get there?

no, but it does go from Peckham. my experience is it takes an absolute age to grind its way to Clapham C.

Get a bike/scooter.

or would train P Rye to Clapham High St be any good? Sorry, Clapham geog not good.

or P Rye to Clapham J from end of 2012 - not that that's particularly close in time!

Bear in mind that if you miss the 20/50 to Clapham High St, you can still get to Clapham Junction from Peckham Rye in 30 min via Sreatham Common, at 27/57.

Good point ianr.

Don't know in which bit of ED the OP lives, but is getting to HOP/FH an option? You can pick up trains to Clapham J from there too.

And to the OP - you can get free bike lessons through Southwark Council. Buy a bike and give it a go. You'll be amazed how quickly you can learn if you stick at it. And TfL cycle maps can show you the quiet back roads to use if you're scared of traffic.

    • interesting the police said "the car was in demand at the moment" what make/model is that?
    • Just be careful to know exactly what they cover and the limits. i use Many Pets and Medivet, as I think one of the vets is exceptionally good. Some of the NHV are, but I’ve had a couple I’ve not liked at all.  I need consistency and to feel that they actually care more about the animals than the money.
    • I haven't used them myself but I noticed recently that "Snoots" in Forest Hill is going unlimited primary care for £33/month, so basically a subscription. Easy access on the 176 from East Dulwich. I have no idea what it includes so read the contract! It's a chain but only 5 branches so not a mega corporate. 🤷‍♂️ https://www.snootsvet.com/find-us
