Robert Poste's Child Posted March 2, 2018 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Neuroscience backs that up: apparently regularly finding things to be grateful for, however small, encourages the synapses to do it more easily and quickly, making positive thinking a habit and creating a positive filter on life. It can feel really hard at first though if you're used to focusing on threats and problems (which is arguably a more natural thing for our 'reptile' brain to do, when you think about it).
