Workshop for mums-to-be March 18th at Space@61

If you're pregnant, I really hope you'll join me on 18 March. You'll benefit no matter how far along you are in your pregnancy and whether this is your first baby or baby #2 or more and the workshop is complementary to any other antenatal or hynobirthing courses you might be doing too.

You'll learn all about:

What to expect physically and emotionally in the early days and weeks after giving birth and how to look after yourself.

What's going on with your baby and how to help them adapt to life outside you womb.

What to eat to support your recovery.

What a mother moon is all about and how to plan your own so that you can be supported to rest and recover and find your confidence as a mother in the early days and weeks after giving birth.

As a bonus for this workshop we'll also be joined by lactation consultant Carmen Pagor who will answering your questions and sharing what you need to know to get feeding off to a good start.

What other mothers are saying:

I had a fantastic time at the Mothermoon workshop. I learnt lots of ways to take care of myself not just physically but emotionally. I'm going to try my best to put them into practice when the baby arrives.

Sarah puts you at ease and creates a safe space for you to share your fears.

I left feeling more confident in coping with the first 6 weeks after the birth!

    • A couple more PR / tickbox sessions are being offered by the organisers (the expression "reaching out" really makes my skin crawl), again presumably without any council representatives attending. No sign of the results of the consultation yet, or when the meeting is to decide whether to grant the licence... To whom it may concern,   We are reaching out to invite you to our upcoming Residents & Stakeholder Drop In Sessions for Gala 2025. We are hosting two drop-in style sessions to facilitate more in depth conversations, allowing us to run through our plans for 2025 and to discuss how we are going to address your feedback.    We look forward to meeting you in person and discussing our event plans for both Gala and our new community day, On The Rye Festival, in more detail.   Lunchtime Session: Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Date: Monday 17th of March Location: Watson's General Telegraph, 108 Forest Hill Rd, London SE22 0RS.   Evening Session: Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Date: Monday 17th of March Location: Watson's General Telegraph, 108 Forest Hill Rd, London SE22 0RS.   As these are drop-in sessions, you can arrive at any time during the below sessions - but it would be greatly appreciated if you could advise on an approximate arrival time. If you would like to attend, please respond with: Your name Your address Your estimated time of arrival   We really appreciate your feedback and taking the time to attend our engagement meetings.   Yours sincerely,   Community Team | GALA Festival [email protected]
    • I must say Dulwich is the worse borough I’ve seen for dog mess. Literally everywhere I step it’s dog poo! There is a lot of children/kids in this area god forbid they fell in it. Fix up dog owners!!
    • I can’t recommend Niko highly enough. Not only did he solve a problem that was puzzling others, but he started with the least disruptive and least expensive option which worked. He is also a delight to have in the house. 07818607583
    • I have been training with the brilliant personal trainer Fox (yes, that is his real name) for over 3 months now. I can't speak highly enough about Fox, Gok and their team. I was desperately unfit and now I am in danger of turning into a gym junkie! If you are considering joining a gym/class or getting a personal trainer then I would 100% recommend Gokay Fitness.
