Great Greek Deli

One of the reasons I love living in Dulwich is that after 30 years here I'm still discovering new things.

My wife took me into the Organic Village Market Deli on Lordship Lane yesterday, which I had been walking passed and ignoring for years. I was amazed! As you go through the usual shop is a vast collection of wonders - a real cross between Aladdin's Cave and the TARDIS, shelf after shelf of the most fantastic stuff, culminating at the end with an array of chillers containing fresh pastries, Turkish Delights, Humus, Olives, it just went on and on. They even had great selection of craft beers. Really nice, helpful and friendly staff as well. Thoroughly recommend it to any foodie, or just the plain hungry!

It's not Greek. It's Turkish.

It was once Greek and owned by the uncle of a guy I once worked with in (Telecoms)

Its a great shop though.

Just been to this shop for the first time ....amazing! The houmous is the best I have ever tasted .

It's one of my favourites too. It's like a wormhole to Green Lanes.
