Injured - poss stray dog last seen on East Dulwich Grove

There was a dog - with badly injured front leg on the bit of East Dulwich Grove between Half Moon Lane and the turn off to Dulwich Village. Last seen at 7.20. I was cycling on my way to work when I spotted him/her.

I stopped and tried to approach but it kept running away. When I phoned a friend to help I lost sight of it. I spent about 15mins cycling up and down trying to find it but had no luck.

I'll try to phone the RSPCA in my break this morning. The dog ginger/red colour, quite large and long legged. It's front leg is badly injured, and it can't walk on it. It is very thin and frightened. I'll look again on my way home. I think I must have frightened it more and it went to hide in someone's garden while I was calling someone to help.

Ditto. So happy Iris is now back in human care and hopefully the leg injury is not too bad. What a relief for the owners and the dog.
