Gunshots Barry Road/Lordship Lane

Was in the Plough pub garden half an hour ago and heard gunshots and witnessed armed police arresting people. Anyone know what happened?

My daughter was and still is in the Plough - just about to leave and was told to get back, lots of armed police and she saw and heard three gunshots, she doesn't know what it is about but the police are searching cars.

My neighbour thought she heard gunshots - I was walking home from Friern Road when noticed loads of police cars, intially thought it was a 3 car pile up but being nosey walked down to the traffic lights and noticed no damage on the cars. A female was getting out of the last car - I assumed she was still an innocent driver who got caught up. Police stopping traffic coming down Barry Road. Most traffic coming up from the Rye are doing 3 point turns and going back down again

There might have been a shooting, involving the illegal use of firearms

I suspect almost anyone using illegal firearms is in some sort of "gang". Be it bloods/crips style or Ray Winstone "leave it you muppet" style crims. Beyond that - no one knows squat.
