It's passing rare that I'm envious of the contemptible.

That's a bit harsh PashtaShoo.

Loving your mum is not the same thing as pretending to like your mum to get an inheritance. We'd all agree with that.

Besides which, what she did and what she said were different. She claimed her divorce loot was going to charity, but it never materialised.

The feedback in media circles was that there was no smoke without fire.

Since she saw a psychiatrist at the time for a complusive lying habit, I'd be wary of taking her at her word on that.

This 'not true' internet personality of yours, does it include claiming people should keep their nose out of other people's thieving, and saying that fantasists are good people?

I have to admit that the only impression I have of Mills is that which I have from the media. And therein lies a point. Without the media who would she be? They use each other and the press always has a habit of magnifying things. Mills of all people must know this. I wonder if she just isn't someone who is a bit neurotic who has then been driven insane by it all. There is a sense of the harder she tries to make a point or redeem herself, the worse she makes it all. But in all of it I don't think she's done anything really bad.

Maybe I should go make myself read the wiki thing in full :))

Depends on your perception of bad I guess.

From a legal perspective she's been found guilty of stealing from her employer, and from an emotional perspective she appears to have taken advantage of a vulnerable and venerable national icon ;-)

Suze, you may wish to re-word or even retract your last comment as it is factually incorrect on more than one count.. I will give you the opportunity to redeem yourself before I bother to state the facts; if you don't Imost certainly will..

Ok MsSS40 you have had an hour so let me do the honours:

Just in case there is anyone out there who doubts my integrity, including yourself:

1 - you sent me the first PM, commenting how I seem like a friendly kind of guy. Fact: friendly is all I am and all I ever will be to anyone on here, unless of course they pee me off by writing crap about me.. Then you can guarantee a reaction.

2 - I have never stalked, never stalk and hopefully never will feel the need. As a mid-30 something, of sound enough mind and in a very happy, fulfilling 14 year relationship, it ain't me who is on the prowl.

If this is your style it's little wonder you are on your own.. Get a life ffs
