Solar panels when doing loft conversion?

Has anyone installed solar panels as part of their loft renovations?

Looking for practical advice/tips on whether this is worthwhile and possible.

There are some new tesla solar roof tiles which I have been keeping an eye on, think they've just released the first orders.

I think a lot of people are put off by the "economics" and payback time of solar. However I always find these a little flawed as with the demand for electricity increasing I think the forward price of power will skyrocket down the track - but that's just my opinion. I for one would be happy with an initial outlay and then no electricity bills (assuming solar panels with battery storage) and will be looking at them when/if I have a loft conversion.
