tinyidentity replied to jojobaby's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Thanks for the update heartblock - I agree basic life support is so essential- https://www.resus.org.uk/public-resource/how-save-lives-cpr I was driving up Lordship Lane behind the sirens, it was hard to watch the ambulances struggling through the traffic, especially the congestion around goose green roundabout, when every minute counts? -
Got unleaded at BP Forest Hill, in and out in an hour, only got yelled at once? so success!

Plumber recommendation - A.F.E Plumbing Services
tinyidentity replied to frenchie33's topic in Reviews
Aria came round at short notice Sorting out an emergency situation. Great guy. -
Unfortunately had our bright blue mens Giant hybrid bike stolen from our front garden on Landells Road. This evening around 6pm a young man cut the chain and tried to ride off on my bike and steer his own alongside. I opened the front door and surprised him so he only got away with my bike and not his own. If you saw anything or come across a bright blue Giant bike, let me know. I also have his bike he left behind, do you recognise it? Bike Owners beware!

Little Fingers Montessori, Barry Road reviews?
tinyidentity replied to Mrs Humm's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Also wanted to pitch in and say how great this nursery is. My son was at another local Montessori and we weren't happy. Parveen, Mervin, Gaby and the staff here area all wonderful and have worked with us on dealing with issues that come up with toddlers in a positive way. He's doing so well there and is happy on drop off and pick up every day! -
I recently used John Powers for some recent boiler work and did not have a great experience. Quite a few extra costs above and beyond the quote and he outsourced part of the work to someone who still hasn't finished their part of the job (over a month now). Having said that, the quality of work that John did was good - just make sure you discuss all scenarios when agreeing a fixed price quote (i.e. if installing a new boiler and complications arise with water pressure affecting other parts of the home).

I used a tutor from TutorFair a few months ago and found a really smart, approachable, professional guy. Brixton based but he comes to you, he's bookable online: https://www.tutorfair.com/tutor/name/raphael/id/1186/profile

I had my MacBook Pro motherboard die after a power surge (plugged the cable in to the wall socket while still attached to my computer). Anyways - Paul made it to my house within a couple of hours, got all my files off it so I could continue working, and within a few days he'd repaired the motherboard on my Mac and cleaned up my machine too. Paul was great, aside from honest good work with the repairs, I appreciated he came to my house and was friendly with my kids who wanted to watch on... Will definitely be calling Paul if I have any computer issues in the future. Thanks! Clare

iphone cracked screen repair locally?
tinyidentity replied to tinyidentity's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Thanks all - I ended up walking over to SARP and it was done in an hour for 55 quid. The guy was nice too. Seems like he did a quality job, I'm not having any problems with it. tinyidentity Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Can anyone recommend a local spot/person to have > an iphone screen repair done?
