Bricklayer, Carpenter & Painter

Recommended Posts

I?m looking for someone to help with some small bricklaying and box-making jobs at my house (just off Lordship Lane, round the corner from the Bishop pub) for an immediate start.

My house is about to go on the market and I?d like to fix some garden brick work and box around some exposed pipes. Job to be complete by Sunday 29 April.

I also have a bigger painting job (painting outside of the house) that is a little less urgent than the other work.

Please let me know if you are a tradesman / handyman with availability to do this work.

Many thanks

John

Thanks to those who got in touch.

Jason Corner, who is a painter, decorator & handyman, did an excellent job with his carpenter colleague Ernie and his bricklayer too. Nicely done and quick too! He filled cracks, painted the outside of my house, painted the bathroom ceiling, built some tidy boxes to cover exposed pipes, painted our railings and fixed some external brickwork, all in just a few days.

You can find him via his Facebook page - search for Jason Decorator and Handyman.

Great work gents, thank you!

    • Thanks all.  What a shame about the hospice guys.  Will have a look at pines and needles. 😀
    • Pickup your dogs shit off the street, it's so simple. Don't own a dog if you cannot do this basic service. Pathetic. Cleaning my shoes of dog shit for the 2nd time this month. What's going on?
    • Hi SpringTime, I completely understand the concern for protecting birds, but using bells on cats is a bit more complicated. While they may reduce hunting success, they're not always effective & can cause stress for some cats, who are highly sensitive to sound. A better solution is to ensure cats are kept indoors during peak bird activity & providing plenty of enrichment at home to satisfy their hunting instincts. There's a terrible misconception that cats do not require as much mental & physical enrichment as dogs do. But they do, if not more so.
    • But we can train them to kill the foreign invaders, green sqwaky things, and the rats with feathers
