I think the "Upper" refers to the area on the same side of LL as the Library. Don't get confused with Lower Upper East Side which slopes of towards Forest Hill.

It just wouldn?t work because then when you head North up Lordship Lane from the Southsides you would be walking downhill, which isn?t right?? surely?

when I cycle home my tongue usually shows a bit of herself out of my mouth, so I guess I don't live at the bottom but at the top.

That means I can't be living at the "Lower Upper East Side" nor at the "Deep Southern Upper East Side", so I reckon I live on the "Southern Upper East Side" and those who live near the plough live in the "Lower Upper East Side"

right ?
