Another player badly advised by his pound signs in eyes agent.

They really should think these things through properly before going public.

This 'gentleman's agreement' he alegedly had with Levy about being allowed to leave if a 'bigger' club came in for him, was around the same time he signed a new 6 year contract...why didn't he have it written into the new contract at the time...doh!

Right, I'm going to give this thread another go...

RE: Scholes, I'm no fan of his club, and don't know much about the man, but a bloody good player! Best of luck to him.

Couldn't tackle for shit though.

Am excited about this season, think Liverpool should be back in the top 4 mix, and play some exciting stuff...

I admit I wasn't sure about Kenny for the long term, but like what he has done so far, and hope he proves me wrong. He certainly seems to be looking ahead.

I think Chelsea might struggle, but I've said that before, and they've kept going, so who knows. Arsenal will have another season of nearlys.

Championship looks very interesting this season too.

    • Please be aware that there is a huge sheet of ice approx 12ft x 6ft on the road at the top end of Avondale Rise on the left hand side approaching Ivanhoe Road.  The council was told earlier this morning, but advised that, due to a reduced service, it is unlikely that grit /salt will be spread before Monday!  Several (thankfully minor) accidents have happened since this morning.  A resident has thoughtfully erected a temporary sign to advise traffic of the hazard, but bearing in mind that temperatures are due to fall to -4 over the weekend and this is on a bus route, please be very careful if driving on this road.
    • Paul was great for us - came round at an ungodly hour of the day at short notice to fix a problem. Very nice bloke too
