  1. Agreed. There's a lot of expectation and if it's not fulfilled (and quickly) it could be an interesting season.
  2. Cheers BR. Eating at 130 so we'll wander up after that.
  3. Taking my 5-y-o to the game tomorrow. I haven't been in a while and not with kids so where's the most family friendly bit for a little one to get a good view? Will it be rammed, worth getting there early?
  4. WE've been pretty shit this year too. But we're still top four....just! ;)

  7. Come to Catford! It's changing every day (for the better). We moved here 4 years ago from Nunhead and haven't looked back (much). There's all sorts going on and lots of lovely people. Transport is fine, we are on the Corbett Estate and it's 15 mins walk from any of the Catford stations and not much further to Hither Green. We love it.
  8. You'll be fine, you should be getting up to about 10-12 miles in one go by Christmas/New Year and then get onto a 16 week programme which suits your level or target time at that point. The usual recommendation for building up distance is adding around 10% per week to your runs. But up to half marathon I found adding about a mile a week was doable and worked well. Remember to mix your training up with a shortish 3-4 mile run at a good pace, an interval session and then your long run and if you can do more runs in a week all the better. Good luck.
  9. I used to live on Cheltenham Rd, opposite where Dish and Spoon is now and it was a twice weekly occurence. People used to just abandon their cars sometimes and walk off. There were always police and residents in mobs.

  11. Good idea El Pibe. They should throw some money at a player like this. I reckon somewhere in the region of ?35m would secure his services!
  12. Just getting it from ISO now! And yes I am being deported as we speak.....see you.
  13. I can guide you in the ways....but it's not exactly legal..
  14. It's going to happen at some point. Maybe not just yet.
  15. Citeh ?95M for Ronaldo? Anyone think there's any truth in it?
  16. God I love this show. Waiting for s05e08 to torrent!
  17. There are Blandford flies at the Herne Hill velodrome. I got bitten a while back and I don't normally react to bite but this was nasty. They can get very badly infected.
  18. What an awful thing to say to the supporters of the club you are leaving. He's made himself look like a right prat.
  19. I see a smile appearing on that face (and mine) if we sign him. I see we've wrapped up the de Gea signing and with Jones (which wasn't as on the rocks as Matt might like to think) and Young it's been a good summer so far.
  20. The Football Focus thread. ::o Falling out with Annasfield.

  22. And if they did they had to contend with the flu when they got back.
