"King" Kenny? More like court jester. Credibility shot to pieces, Suarez should be disposed of, he has greatly tarnished the clubs image. Would Paisley or Shankly stood for his shit? And lest I foget, Thierry Henry, Thierry Henry, Thierry Henry, Thierry Henry!!!!!!!!!

Yes he did. And he said Evra shouldn't have celebrated like that, which is the point I made. Keep up.

Here's a better quality version of the Dalglish "I didn't see it but still defended Suarez" video. Then followed by Alex Ferguson branding Suarez as a disgrace. Great to see Fergie recognising how Evra has kept his dignity throughout this sorry episode.

I wish the world would give it a rest. He didn't shake hands. Wow. It's between them to sort it out if they are ever inclined to. It's a needless pre game ritual which should be done away with. Suarez acted like an idiot but he is Liverpool's idiot. If they don't think he has/had anything to answer for then that's a reflection on them and it appears on their manager. Without TV and media coverage this would be forgotten quickly.

More importantly United won and it keeps their title chances alive. It also made me think neither Terry nor Ferdinand should be considered as first choice centre backs for England come the Euros. Terry for two reasons. Both because they are not good enough on the pitch anymore.

Actually, he didn't. Did you watch it or do you just like to make stuff up? He said he shouldn't have done that.

An idiot who is dragging the reputation of a great club through the gutter.. Get rid.

"Patrice apparently celebrated in front of Suarez. That is understandable,"

Source

I've also heard him on TV coverage as well.

Typically AM not able to separate facts from fictions. I doubt whether I'd get an apology for his shot in the dark accusation.

I'd say your source is wrong then. When did he say that? He didn't attend the post match press conference. The interview you tried to post includes Ferguson saying 'he shouldn't have done that, but maybe it's understandable'.

Suarez is dragging Liverpool's good name down to the level of the gutter. Dalglish isn't helping things either. The chairman and owner of the club should sort this out sharpish.

I was at White Hart Lane yesterday. Fantastic performance from Spurs. We destroyed Newcastle and we did it with great aplomb and style. The vocal backing Harry has got from the crowd in the last couple of home games has been absolutely phenomenal. We'd be gutted if he goes.

The "he shouldn't have done" part wasn't exactly clear but the "understandable" part was during Alex Ferguson's interview (see posted interview above). No apology is necessary unless Alex Ferguson has clarified his own words.

Anyway, the real culprit in yesterday's match was Suarez and his refusal to shake Evra's hand and move on. Like others have said, Evra's behaviour is dragging the club down. Alex said said clearly Evra's behaviour could have caused a riot.

@Jah Lush,

I've always felt that Spurs lacked that extra bit of 'oomph' in attack but not now. Adebayor and Saha played really well together. Hopefully Saha stays fit with Spurs fighting for the title until the end.

    • Oh yes, it could have been about there, I can't remember exactly. At one point there seemed to be a load of pizza places opening on NCR. I vaguely remember the one we used to use was put out of business by another one which opened. Wasn't Grace and Favour's food offering more of a tea shop at the back of the actual shop? If memory serves the owner, whose name escapes me now, was one of the earliest people I know to move to Hastings. Which must now be crammed with South East Londoners 🤣

    • Hi Dogkennelhillbilly, You won't be aware that i proposed infill sites for housing in East Dulwich - the garages on Bassano Street and Henslowe that respectively became 1-4 Dill Terrace family houses and the 78, 80, 80A Henslowe Street family houses. These were council owned garages and it was frustrating how slow the council was to go from my idea to completion (roughly eight years). East Dulwich has some other vacant WW2 bomb sites I'm guessing that the private land owners have been sitting on.Owe for a land tax for vacant land.  WRT to the builders yard by East dulwich station. Southwark Council has an agreed policy the area should remain suburban 2/3 storeys maximum. But the approved scheme is 9 storeys of student accommodation. Very hard to put this genie back in the bottle. The council has recently publicly stated lower ratios of social housing will be required. I will be amazed if the developer doesn't submit another application now they have the 9 storeys approved but with significantly less social housing. The less social housing the higher the land values. The higher the land values the less social housing viability reports state are possible.  If we really want to increase home supply - Southwark have over 6,000 empty homes. Vancouver charges a low % of the value of empty homes and rapidly eased this problem. Parts of Wales have introduced under Article 4 planning permission is required for second homes seeing within 12 months a dramatic decrease in property prices. Southwark Council have Article 4 requirements - why not add this one? It takes National political will to solve this AND regional and local authorities such as the second home council tax premium and these being used promptly.
    • https://www.letslinkuk.net/ I'm interested to know why the OP didn't find this sort of scheme to work, as I would have thought it was much harder to find someone to do a direct exchange with? Does anybody else have experience of a scheme like this? Happy to be persuaded!
