I see...I am! :)

I passed on my congrats yesterday, and they were meant, City were the better team over the season, scored more goals, conceded less, beat us home and away, and played better football (I thought Spurs for a period played the best)...I see City as fierce rivals not enemies, this Indy 'red corner' article* from Saturday explains it well.

I'll always prefer to see the League end up in Mcr, even if it's the blue half, than over in Liverpool or certain parts of London...besides, you've got to get another 16 before you can even sit on our perch ;-)

*The Indy ran a similar article from a City fan's perspective, worth a read if you missed it while sunning yourself... 'blue corner'

You should get a job with the Politburo...100,000, not even close to our 1,000,0000 when we won the treble.

Carlito showed his class I see...

There is widespread condemnation of that from the majority of Blues, cheers for the links-will read them tomorrow. As for mentioning Liverpool, didn't want either of us creasing up in laughter ! :)-D

As for your figure of "1,000,0000" is that many people on the planet? There certainly isn't in the UK.

Cheers Atticus-we know from whence we came ! We were still there when we were shit ! York away (old 3rd div)to Premiership Champions !

Mick mac, plenty leave several minutes before the end when we are losing-has always been the same, for us and most clubs tbf. My Dad did it with me (left early that is ;-)) and we scored 2 goals and won as we were walking out of Maine Road-must've been around 76-77- so I would never do it now !

Oh and on a by-note last time we won the league I was born !

Makes sense why he did that with this http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/ferguson-can-city-be-top-dogs-not-in-my-lifetime-1789944.html It was basically a two finger salute !

Yes BR - but you don't leave early when its your first chance to win the league for 40 odd years.

Tut tut BR, stop apologising for him.

Your club and Tevez have issued apologies.

Re. fans leaving early...personally I've never done it, but to some fans the fear of losing is greater than the hope of winning...wasn't the Ibrox disaster caused by Rangers fans trying to get back in after Rangers scored a late late goal?

Don't worry BR, I can take it...I'm making notes in the book for future paybacks.

I wish I had a comfy armchair handy to collapse into yesterday.

I could have gone to the game with some QPR fans, but thought it would be a 90min cakewalk for you, so declined...best decision of my life.

Jah I wouldn't want Chavski to win a raffle. And yes indeed come on Bayern!!!!

Bloody hell, Hazard has been spotted outside Owed Trafford.

Quite right, it's all relative, I should've used 'bigger' ;-)

I missed out the obvious...Rafa Returns!

Well, if he's going he's going and he may well have won the League Cup albeit on penalties against lowly Cardiff City but the stats don't lie. Defeat at Swansea meant Liverpool recorded their lowest total of top-flight league victories (14) and lowest points tally (52) since 1953-54. They also scored the fewest league goals (47) for 20 years and an eighth-placed finish was their worst for 18 years.

His reaction and behaviour during the whole sorry saga of the Suarez affair was a complete PR disaster to the reputation of the club.

    • Did you try the emergency number posted above? It mentions lift breakdowns over the festive period outside the advertised  times. Hope you got it sorted x
    • People working in shops should not be "attempting to do the bill in their head." Nor if questioned should they be  trying to "get to an agreeable number." They should be actually (not trying to) getting to the correct number. I'm afraid in many cases it is clearly more than incorrect arithmetic. One New Year's Eve in a restaurant (not in East Dulwich but quite near it) two of us were charged for thirty poppadoms. We were quite merry when the bill came, but not so merry as to not notice something amiss. Unfortunately we have had similar things happen in a well established East Dulwich restaurant we no longer use. There is also a shop in East Dulwich which is open late at night. It used not to display prices on its goods (that may have changed). On querying the bill, we several times found a mistake had been made. Once we were charged twice for the same goods. There is a limit to how many times you can accept a "mistake".  There is also a limit to how many times you can accept the "friendly" sweet talking after it.
    • Adapted not forced.  As have numerous species around the world.  Sort of thing that Attenborough features.  Domestic dogs another good example - hung around communities for food and then we become the leader of the pack.  Not sure how long it will take foxes to domesticate, but some will be well on their way.    Raccoons also on the way https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1j8j48e5z2o
    • My memory, admittedly not very reliable these days, places the shop on the block on the left hand side just before Burgess Park going towards Camberwell. Have also found a reference to Franklins Antiques being located at 157 Camberwell Road which is on that block. This is a screen shot obtained from Google maps of that address which accords with my memory except the entrance door was on the right hand side, where the grey door is, rather than in the centre.
