This time it did hurt Jah. Arguably that was our toughest remaining away fixture for the season, and a win would have been massive.

I think Fergie should have directed his ire at the Ref not the Linesman, as he had a perfectly clear view of Caulker bringing down Rooney...if he thought it wasn't a pen why not book Rooney for diving? Anyways, a draw was a fair result and I would've taken that at the start...

With nowt left to play for you mean? Like 1992?

You know you've done all right when Fergie starts moaning about referees. I thought we shaded it but at the end I was happy with the point. To take four points from Man Utd during the season is good form.

Spurs next few league games are against Norwich, West Brom, Newcastle & West Ham, all potentially winnable and should keep us in the hunt for that top four spot. I still think we need another striker and a creative midfielder for us to bomb on though.

Week 19 results, some good scores this week...

Ten years ago Tottenham Hotspur decided to release 14-year-old Gary Hooper as a schoolboy and now it looks like we could be back in the race for his signature.

Hooper?s contract negotiations are at deadlock with Celtic and according to reports today Spurs could be set to offer ?10million for the 24-year-old. The Metro claim that Andre Villas-Boas has already had positive reports from scouts which he sent north of the border to cast an eye over the former Scunthorpe player.

Norwich have already had a ?5million bid snubbed by Celtic, with Liverpool and QPR also said to be monitoring the situation. The striker has scored 55 goals in 81 games for the Scottish side but we all know that the Premier League is a completely different animal. Would Hooper be able to become the prolific forward which we crave?

Hooper reportedly told the Scottish Sun newspaper: ?I was released by Spurs when I was 14, I had been with them for seven years. I went on a 20-minute trial ? just 20 minutes of one game and they said no.

?How they can judge you on 20 minutes I?ll never know.

?The rejection from Tottenham has motivated me a lot. I want to prove to them I can play at the highest level.

?The disappointment of being released by Spurs has never left me ? and ever since I?ve been trying my hardest to show what I can do. Spurs didn?t believe in me and I think I?ve proved them wrong by joining Celtic.?

The Cup is back this weekend. Like the previous round I've picked 10 ties where there's the potential of a good old fashioned cup upset. Therefore I've included the Friday night game featuring Villa, who after last night's performance won't be looking forward to a 'warm' welcome at the New Den, so remember to get your predictions in before then...

At least Hazard will make the back pages...to be honest having seen it a couple of times I think he was trying to get the ball from under of a ball boy acting a total tool and time wasting then doing a Drogba. Know the headlines will slaughter him but I actually have a bit of sympathy with Hazard on this, even though he was a bit stupid.

    • In 2016 London City Airport began using concentrated flight paths. When there's a predominantly westerly wind, incoming aircraft approach from East London (north of the River). When there's a predominantly Easterly wind, incoming aircraft approach the airport from the West: circling through Forest Hill, Dulwich, Vauxhall, Tower Hamlets, Docklands. This latter flight path affects many of us in South East London. https://www.london.gov.uk/who-we-are/what-london-assembly-does/questions-mayor/find-an-answer/london-city-airport-concentrated-flight-paths The planes going into City are often below 2,000 ft, so very noisy. Sometimes we have incoming Heathrow at the same time, flying higher. The early flights that I hear e.g. 04:30 are incoming to Heathrow. They are scheduled to land at 05:30 but are 'early'. Apparently the government allows a percentage of flights to arrive early and late (but these are now established as regular occurrences, informally part of the schedule). IMHO Londoners are getting very poor political representation on this issue. Incredible that if you want to complain about aircraft noise, you're supposed to contact the airport concerned! Preposterous and designed solely in favour of aviation expansion.
    • Yet another recommendation for Jafar. Such a nice guy, really reliable and fair. He fixed a problem with our boiler and then incredibly kindly made two more visits to replace a different part at no extra cost.
    • I didn't have any problems with plane noise until city airport started flying planes to and from about 5-8 minutes apart from 5.30 am or  6 am,  and even with ear plugs and double glazing I am woken at about 6 well before I usually would wake  up. I have lived here since 1986 and it is relatively recently that the planes have been flying far too low over East dulwich. I very much doubt that they are headinbg to Heathrow or from Heathrow. As the crow flies we are much , MUCH closer to City Airport than Heathrow or Gatwick. I even saw one flying so low you could see all the windows, when I was in Peckham Rye Park.
