Don't know what you are so bitter about PD. RVP could have gone to City for more money. He has spent the bulk of his career at Arsenal. He is a footballer not a fan. Arsenal SOLD him. Arsenal are a selling club. Maybe that will change when they are financially secure. What would you have done differently to RVP?

Applying your average Gooner's 'logic'...RVP was a mercenary as soon as Arsenal bought him from Holland. Why did he leave Holland? To win medals, play at a higher level, and earn more money...2 out of 3 obviously wasn't good enough :)

I wouldn't have spouted all the shit about staying at one club, like Rooney did (funny how they've both ended up with the Mancs). We stuck by him while he languished on the treatment table for season after season. Still his glass ankles are due to shatter soon.

Funny how the likes of Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Vieira all won titles having precious little before arriving at our club. But then he isn't in the same league as those guys. And the hugging of Arsene Wenger at the swamp was puke inducing.

Goal of the season. Well, Bale has scored plenty like the one he got at West Ham. In fact, I beleive he's scored more goals from outside the box than anyone else in Europe this season, so it's hard to pick one but I settle for the winning goal he got at the Boleyn Ground just to piss off all the Hammers on this thread. COYS!

Careful, you could have another Veron, Bebe, or Djemaba Djemba on your hands.

Well as and when ANY club can go through a season unbeaten or better or 49 games unbeaten run, I'm happy to keep bringing this up.

Interesting to note a club can go through a season unbeaten and be relegated. You're also missing out on the fact that L'arse weren't the first team to go through a season unbeaten in the league. Preston North End did it first and also won the cup in the same year. Spurs did the double before Arsenal and they won a European Competition before them too.

Did Arsenal do anything first? Bribing their way into the first division maybe?

ETA MU have already WON mores games this season than Arsenal did the season they didn't lose any.

Yeah, but the ball probably weighed 150 times that of the modern day ball, and the boots, they were like hunter wellies, so it has to be comparable?!

    • https://www.assistancedogs.org.uk/information-hub/assistance-dogs-emotional-support-dogs-and-therapy-dogs/   hello   i’d be interested to understand if anyone.has experience of Assistance Dogs especially for autistic children of different ages for emotional support and therapy   There was a prior thread on this topic on EDF 10 hrs ago but it had limited experiences and there was a (claimed) change in UK legislation in 2019. Whilst the industry appears unregulated/unlicensed, there are several providers (approx 15, perhaps more) who claim to have fully trained dogs or say that they can help families to train a puppy/young dog over the 18-24 months.  The latter obviously comes with a need for strong commitment to the challenge. Costs for a fully trained assistance dog are quoted at £13-15k albeit they claim £23k total cost to train the dog. On the one hand, this could potentially be a useful solution for some families if such a dog was truly trained as their websites claim and such a dog was accepted in public places and schools etc… On the other hand, I don’t think that I’ve ever seen an assistance dog of this type or in this context (only for a blind or partially sighted person) and hence a real risk of fraud or exploitation! The SEN challenge for families coupled with limited resources in schools or from local authorities or the NHS as well as the extremely challenging experience of many families with schools offering little or no support or making the situation worse leaves a big risk of lots of different types of fraud and or exploitation in this area.
    • Hi there  We live on Woodwarde Road backing on to Alleyns Top Field.  Our cat Gigi has gone missing — it’s been about 24 hours now. She is a cream Bengal. Could you please check sheds, garages, or anywhere she might have got stuck please? And if you could keep an eye out or share on any local groups/forums, we’d really appreciate it. Photo attached.   Thanks so much! My name is Jeff on 07956 910068.
    • Colin.    One for the old school.   Just saying.
    • Signed, and I will share it elsewhere, thank you for posting this. It's got nearly 70,000 signatures at present, and apparently runs till February.
