had to chuckle at the Spuds debacle,...nearest one to my 8-0 predictions

to be honest the Liverpool result just made me feel sick, I'm still scarred by 2006 and have never watched that game ever on TV. I didn't watch much of the second half in the Millenium, stopped staring at the ground when they put the 2 mins of Injury time board up just in time to see Liverpool pressurise us on the 'pass back# that resulted in Gerrards goal, still think it was a terrible bit of gamesmanship although only Hammers seem to have noticed it

PS I bet MickM never layed that bet on Spurs, the idiot

Yeah, funny that. Having thrown the ball to your player, what exactly would you have had Liverpool do after your player made a rubbish clearence?

Not trying to pick an argument, and would agree that Liverpool got lucky that day, and would have been absolutely gutted had I been a hammer, BUT calling foul play is just wrong.

Of course I did not lay my Spurs bet.....there is nothing worse than laying off a bet and then hoping your prediction does not happen (spurs don't win). I would not write spurs off entirely. Need someone to support anyway.

As someone who only saw the highlights ledley king was a complete passenger today.

Aaron Lennon hasn't appeared for England since his World Cup flop. I can't see why Lennon should get the nod over Walcott for an England place this season. Lennon has only scored three goals compared to Walcott's eight this season. And when was the last time Aaron has scored a goal for England?

Really? You can keep your part the Tottenham part of North London mate, you deserve it. By the way Bale is to get a nomination from the diving association of Great Britain apparently he's better at it than Tom Daley, the monkey featured Welsh twat. 2 nil and you fcuked it up. Apparently Lead Boots King doesn't train before a game. Is that right? Well you'd never have guessed it after yesterdays piss poor showing!!! B)

That is the poorest game I've ever seen Ledley King play. Normally he is superb but he didn't look fit at all. Very sad. I hope it's not the end for him. He's been a great servant to our club. As for Bale he should stick to the wing and bring back Lennon on the other side. I thought we really missed him yesterday. Can't understand why he wasn't playing.

Well yeah - Redknapp was right when he said "it was one of those days for us"

and Wenger spot on when he said "it would be down to consistency" but anyone could have told him that before the game.

on another note - with Rooney, Cleverly and Bent out surely Pearce has to rethink leaving the Ox in the U21s?

Wenger simly outsmarted Redknapp. This concerns me as he needs to be more tactically aware in the international arena.

Perhaps Pearce is playing it safe for his first game in charge rather than gambling on an inexperienced O-C.

    • I didn't say wedge it "slightly" open. I meant to wedge it fully open.
    • I have a rescue Spanish greyhound (galgo) from the charity mentioned above. You can contact Greyhounds in Need or one of the more local Kent greyhound rescue charities. They are fantastic family dogs. They do love walkies 2 or 3 times a day but they actually don't need to be walked too far and then they will happily loaf around on the sofa being very chill. They are brilliant with kids but not recommended if you own a cat as they have a strong prey drive. They also should be kept on the lead in local parks. They prefer to be around other sight-hounds (well my one does) and there are loads of local sighthound owners in Peckham, Crystal Palace etc and a very lively WhatsApp group that is brilliant if you need dog sitting as you can usually find someone to do that for free in return for you looking after the dog at a later date etc.
    • @Jenijenjen I assure you we are always polite and friendly too! Which is why the behaviour we have been receiving is so frustrating. The kids always leave her with a “Thank you have a lovely day”  Our concern is leaving the gate slightly wedged doesn’t stop the action of slamming it open and closed…still leading to damage
    • If you're talking about who I think you are, I find them more exuberant than rude and usually smiling and polite. But then, I'm usually smiling and polite to them. Can you not wedge open your gate when you're expecting them?
