On your part, definitely. Take a look at your own dodgy signings first eh?

See what I mean, talk about prove the point.

If Arsenal can sort out their dodgy defence then they could well be premiership champions within the next two years.

He actually spoke with The Mail, and I think he comes over well. That Telegraph article has just grabbed one bit and blown it up in to a "story".

He has been quite open about things, and the way Liverpool handled it all. But he still stands by his team mate, which is fair enough of he believes he was harshly treated.

I thought the same thing back then - I think it may seem like post rationalisation as it is so long after the event.

For Messi - one audacious chip over the GK's head would be great - two is ridiculous. It was also his 8th hat trick of the season! Unbelievable.

Dream on. You won't let it lie will you. POAK Salonika if my memory serves me correctly and I was there too. We were playing with kids throughout the whole competition. We weren't interested in the Europa League.

Just got to mention that I thought Stevenage were fantastic last night but class prevailed in the end. Defoe has got to play more often. He scored another two fabulous goals last night and a superb backheeled 'goal' that was disallowed for offside. Also feel deeply sorry for Michael Dawson who was carried off in the 3rd minute with ruptured ankle ligaments. It's another bad one for him after coming back recently from another horrible injury. Get well soon.

I read the DM article too, but I highlighted the DT article because it concentrated on the handshake issue, on which I thought he came across as nothing more than an apologist...''Evra probably stayed up all night thinking about how to do that'' :-S

I'm glad you got to enjoy the nidge last night Jah.

We've had a good few cup runs in the past, though now that we're suddenly in the dizzy heights of league one it's looking slightly less impressive than in our conference days (not long behind us, conceivably not long ahead of us as these things often go).

I do hope we can bed down in League one, and try to build momentum for a stab at the championship. We've played some pretty good footie down broadhall way over the years and even seen a couple of our players in World Cups (remember the bandana clad Nigerian Efeter Sodje anyone?).

Not to mention the mighty Barry Hayles, or non-league Ian Wright as he was known before being propelled, somewhat mystifyingly, into the premiership with Fulham.

.....and I doubt that he did as the ref in an attempt to diffuse any possible situation changed the running order. Instead of MU walking down the line of Pool players as is usually done when a team is at home, the reverse happened. Evra is hardly likely to have known that the night before.

You might want to look at the shake again (No NOOOO! God enough already!), as Evra definitely drops his hand when Suarez gets to him - I think it was more instinctive (as I said before - a playground thing) than planned but it is there.

What if the offside rule comes into focus. Laddy will be well stuffed!

I can't believe that the powers that be at Liverpool haven't just told everyone not to comment on the Suarez issue. I think Liverpool underestimate how much damage to their reputation the Suarez affair has caused. Palace fans have a poll running for the most unpopular manager at the moment and Dalglish is miles ahead of all the other managers (apart from Fat Sam who has had a few digs at Palace), no history between Palace and Liverpool, just how he acted over Suarez.

RD's rider...

chaufeur driven limo to and from studio;

pre-match meal at Gaucho, Charlotte St;

During match: bottle of JD with lead crystal tumbler, no ice, and unlimited supply of M&Ms, minus the yellow ones...

?The evidence was Luis?s word against Evra?s,? argued Johnson. ?I?m not saying

Evra is lying but it?s his word against Luis?s,

isn?t it? So how did it all turn out to be so

strong in Evra?s favour? I work with the lad

every day. There is no way he said that.

That is exactly how I've always felt about this case, and I think GJ comes over as quite mature. Whatever happened on the day (WHICH NONE OF US KNOW) if there is an accusation of racism, it tends to stick, whether proven or not.

Anyway, cheers for bringing it up again RD, I can hardly wait for UDT's inevitable input.

    • My main issue is leaves lying on the road, being washed into drain covers then causing flooding risk.
    • Really don’t  know why people don’t sell their property by them selves…or at least start that way… not difficult if a freehold house, might be  more complicated if leasehold flat but with a good solicitor doing his work, should be fine. With many people using internet, plenty of people put  looking and numerous  other ways to reach target audience. Was a relocation agent for  years both in sales and letting through London and home  counties.. ie acquiring properties for individuals. Same goes for rental/ letting agents.. tenancy agreements are standard, totally agree that various laws governing terms  are updated but nowadays the majority of estate agents in letting and I assume sales  belong to a recognised body so really one can let oneself. Tenancies are free on line or can be purchased for a nominal sum. What do they do for their commission in both instances? Introduce tenant or buyer, in theory check out references and produce a tenancy agreement, agree amendments, sign by both parties, collect deposit and rent. Organise inventory check in and that is it. And then if you decide to pay them for management of property an additional fee in the hope that they will use approve contractors for all repairs in a suitable time frame for tenant. Was a post earlier or towards last year not sure on here or Facebook covering this point and lack of management from agent for months. I hasten to add that not all sales or rental agents behave in this manner but certainly some in good old ED. was definitely a posting about a well known agent in the village who was “slow” concerning the above. From memory, change if staff and just got buried…in my book totally unacceptable excuse. That is why they have managers in each estate agent to overseas and stay abreast of sales and lettings. Can’t pass the buck…and most companies irrespective of type of industry have a leaving policy and hand over policy produced normally by HR..Same could be said for consultants in  new build sales but normally they are  responsible and accountable from start to finish ie monitoring sale  the whole way, have to produce weekly reports to head office  plus  follow up on all enquiries. Been their as well over my career.
