where to get ready made photo/picture frames with glass (other than Ikea)

I need to get some A3 sized white frames with mounts for photographs and sketches and also frames of other dimensions -

I have used Ikea's 'Ribba' range before which are fine for what is needed https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/decoration/frames-pictures/ribba-frame-white-art-00268876/

but they have swapped from glass to plastic/perspex now so I'd like to shop around - any suggestions ? I need to keep costs down so can't afford really expensive ones..

I'm also looking for somewhere that sells box frames to mount a 2cm deep canvas in.

There is a branch of Wilko in the Lewisham Centre now as well. Tiger, with branches in Lewisham, Bromley etc, also have lots of picture frames.

There?s a new Habitat in Nine Elms. Free parking. It?s just a small showroom at the back of the new Sainsbury?s. They do have a selection of popular frame sizes though, and can order stock in (you could also buy online but at least in-store collection avoids delivery charges).

    • Hey everyone, Just a quick heads up for those who might not be aware: there's a new law in England that took effect in April. Essentially, if you're involved in any building or planning projects, you now need to meet certain biodiversity quotas.  I stumbled upon this handy assessment tool that can determine whether you're exempt or need to meet the requirements. Hopefully, it eases your worries too! Check it out here: https://www.joesblooms.com/bng-tool

    • This Italian restaurant at the Southbound Goose Green bus stop on Lordship Lane is excellent but doesn't seem to get much custom, especially at lunchtimes - a sad indictment of East Dulwich society.  If it were in Camberwell/Peckham (where I used to live) it would be rammed. If we don't want Lordship Lane full of chains, then good quality independent family places need custom.
