Indiana
We are about to go on a 13 Hour flight and friends have recommended a portable DVD player to let our 22 month old watch some cartoons/Night Garden if she gets particularly restlessWondered if anyone could recommend a particular model? Perhaps one with a Parental Lock so she can't switch it off and then complain every few seconds! Thanks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/19092-can-you-recommend-a-portable-dvd-player-suitable-for-a-2-year-old/ Share on other sites
missd
We have this one which we bought for our 2 year old son to use. I was a bit worried he would keeo touching it and turning it off but I turn it off and put it away if he messes around with it. A few times of that happening and he now just sits watching it rather than wanting to play with ithttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-DVPFX730L-7-inch-Portable-Player/dp/B001V7NC24/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1313647568&sr=8-3Was recommended to us because it has a 5 hour battery life - as opposed to others which have 3 hour (useless on a long flight!)Not sure it has a lock on it. The Nappy Lady
Not sure how cost compares but an iPad would do all that & more for you & you could all use it??Make sure you get over the ear headphones as in ear ones don't work on little ones. nymom
we have the sony one that flips open. Much better than previous bigger panasonic. The sony one has a lock and they can put it on a traytable or in their lap. Check amazon for the best price. Indiana
Thanks allYes - we did consider justifying buying an ipad with the need for her portable dvd for the flight - but 500 quid difference I think!
