Forest Hill Road Co-Op in Bright and Friendly New Staff Member Shock!

Recommended Posts

My current bus route means I have long not needed to use this place - but that is due to change early 08 so will be back here picking up my milk/beers etc

The subtext of *Bob*'s message of course is just how rubbish this place is/was. The memories of my days using this place still haunt me so I hope this guy sticks around.

I popped in there this evening and was served by said new staff member. I told him about this thread and after explaining what an internet forum was, he blushed and said he'd try to look it up.

Q. Why did all the other people in the queue look at me like I was mad for complimenting someone in public?

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
