No, you can ask for them to be removed. If they are not, call trading standards. Or, if you actually have better thing to do, thrown them away. Easy.

They are actually allowed to leave them up for 2 weeks post completion, no more.

I agree with this - much less fatty and really tasty!

Man in grey suit on Grove Vale asking for money
seanmlow replied to Carol's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I had a guy come up to me asking for ?5 because his truck had been clamped and he couldn't get home. He said he had losth is wallet and phone. I offered him the use of my phone and he said no. Two weeks later he stopped me on L Lane and asked the same thing. When I told him I remembered him and he had asked me the same thing a few weeks before, he soon vanished! -
Stopping estate agent tat through our letter boxes

I know agents do this. The problem is when leaflets are not pushed in properly - an open invitation to theives as it pretty much shows you are not at home! -
Water problems Altima Court / East Dulwich?
seanmlow replied to cat24's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I used to rent in that building and that was half the reason I left. The managing agents are totally idiotic. You should claim back from them for the hassle of having to buy bottled water and not being able to shower when you want! -

Judge- You have hit the nail on the head. -
'photographers' - hardly. These are the pond life who often do anything for a photo! I once saw them put a camera UNDERNEATH a very well know soap actress' skirt outside a club in London. Classy.

2 Lollipop men on Lordship Lane
seanmlow replied to jack bauer's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
----The reason that there are lollipop men standing at pedestrian crossings (I'm speaking as a parent of two small children) is because so many drivers during rush hour and other times ignore the crossings and speed through them.--- I'm sorry, I don't think anyone in their right mind would drive through a crossing when a child is in close proximity. If they did this, having someone standing there with a stick to stop them is hardly going to act as a deterrent to a madman like that is it? I think it is more the case that the lollipop men often look as if they are not doing anything that is getting up the noses of many. -

I just fail to see the point. Where I work they have a man who stands in the middle of the road when the lights are red and the green man on - what sick person would drive when it is red and kids are crossing?! -

They are not doing much good when standing there chatting - hardly on the ball! -
