Is that all?

I?ve been looking at the empty shop on the end corner junction of NCR / LL - I think there may be an opportunity there.

Makes one feel for the poor sods who, googling the same, are finding 'EDF Gold'...

  • 1 year later...

It?s easy to stay away for some time, but it?s hard to leave forever.

?????s even dipped his toe in a little while ago (probs too much Stella)

I wonder where woodrot expresses himself now?

There was a peak and often very funny time on the EDF, it couldn?t last, but it was great to see.

Seabag, it?s very rare you get a permanent exit from the forum. *Bob* has so far alluded a return, but like ABBA, his back catalogue continues to create hilarity for me when I?m bored in the garden chowing down on a cheap bottle of Shiraz.

Whatever happened to my pal rendelharris? Please make a return ASAP. Very sadly missed on the Brexit thread especially.

As for you John, I never thought you?d return in any capacity after all those years, but I have to say your comeback has been refreshing and you?ve triggered me on more than one occasion. Well done! Here?s to more drama!

Louisa.

I remember when moos left, going off to live in Hong Kong I think

She said she didn?t see the point of being involved in a local forum whilst living abroad, or something like that

Then gone, finished.

Maybe Rendle has a job on, something that requires his FULL attention.

Yes indeed do. You have nothing to fear from a bit of opposition intellect.

I refute all allegations of side-kickery* Frankie

    • So what is the issue? You want compensation for the loss of value, or you want to expedite the matter?
    • No. What happened? I actually thought, considering it was what we used to call Guy Fawkes Day last night, the loud noises from  fireworks ended remarkably early. About 9pm? Maybe I just fell asleep and didn't hear any later ones. Do people actually burn Guys any more? Apart from at places like Lewes, where I believe they still have Bonfire Societies and burn effigies of various political figures etc.
    • The accompaniment to our "Christmas Pudding" aka Nothing-Whatever-Like-A- Christmas-Pudding last year  at The Cherry Tree was "brandy butter ice-cream." If it had ever been near any brandy, the brandy must have been waved in its direction from a very great distance. Same with butter. The ice cream tasted like bog standard "vanilla" from a catering tub. At least it did bear some resemblance to ice cream. Whereas the "Christmas Pudding" bore no resemblance whatever to any Christmas Pudding I have ever seen or tasted in my many  decades of seeing and tasting Christmas Puddings. Oh, and Cinzano Bianco. Bleurgh. My sister used to drink that. 🤢
